Good evening Residents
Over the last couple of weeks there was a marked increase detected concerning theft and vandalism on Municipal infrastructure. At the electrical sub-station at the corner of Moffat and Noord Street especially, rogue elements are severely impacting on the ability of the Municipality to render services to the community. The streetlights in Colridge have been repaired thrice now, just to find that the box containing the control system of the street lights has been broken and all equipment was removed.
At some point the box was welded close, but still it did not deter the thief from stealing again.
