A community meeting was held in Colridge on, Monday, 17 January 2022, for purposes of notifying the community about the up and coming projects of rehabilitating streets and installing electricity. A Steering Committee of ten people was elected, 5 for roads and 5 for electricity, to ensure that the objectives of the Project are achieved.
The Municipal Mayor Cllr. Groep, Municipal Manager, Mr Segapo, the Speaker Cllr. Gulane, as well as Cllr. Mgida, Responsible for community service , Housing Development and Tourism and Cllr. Jacobs.
The Contractor, VNK civil Contractors JV Perrizin Homes, and the Consultant, Malankane Consulting Engineers were introduced to members of the community on the day. The completion of the project estimated and planned for 6 Months.

In closing the Mayor and the Municipal Manager pleaded with the community to not disturb the on going project as it will benefit the growth of the community.
