The Leon Taljaard Nature Reserve

Set in the gently sloping Ghaap Plateau of Vryburg shrub Bushveld, the reserve is located between the R37 to the North West and N14 to the South West. This unique reserve is a host to various mammal species ranging from two of South Africa’s big five, namely; African buffalo and White Rhinoceros.

It offers unique self drive game viewing experience  were you can spot several antelopes such as Greater Kudu, Eland, Blue wildebeest , Waterbuck, Impala ,Springbok ,Blesbok, Gemsbok ,Red Hartebeest , Warthog , Steenbok , Common duiker , Blacked-backed Jackal ,and Brown Hyaena . We also have about 120 bird species.
